  • How should I store the syrups once purchased?

    Because our syrups are made with real ingredients and no preservatives, they love a little chill — keep hi raya! syrups refrigerated to keep them fresh and full of flavor.

  • How long do the syrups last after opening?

    Once opened, hi raya! syrups stay fresh for up to one month. You’ll also find an expiration date listed on the packaging for guidance.

  • Can I use the syrups in both hot and cold drinks?

    Absolutely! hi raya! syrups are delicious in both hot and cold drinks — from cozy lattes to refreshing iced teas, they add flavor wherever you pour them.

  • What's the best syrup-to-drink ratio for coffee, matcha or tea?

    We find that about 30 g of syrup hits the perfect balance for 12oz of coffee, matcha, or tea.

    But feel free to adjust to your taste — a little more or less depending on how sweet you like it!

  • Can I use these syrups for baking or desserts?

    Yes! hi raya! syrups are perfect for more than drinks. Use them in baking or desserts and let your sweet ideas run wild.

    We love keeping it local! Our ingredients are purchased in small businesses within Cleveland. For pandan, ube, and black sesame, we head to the heart of AsiaTown, working with local Asian grocery stores to bring you authentic, vibrant flavors.

  • Are your products made locally?

    Yes! Every bottle of hi raya! syrup is lovingly made right here in Cleveland — crafted by the owner’s husband with care in every batch.

  • Do you offer USDA Organic or other certifications?

    Not just yet! As a small two-person team, we’re focused on crafting delicious syrups and growing thoughtfully. Down the road, we hope to earn USDA Organic and other certifications as we scale.
