Our partnership with Sugarland Food Mart began with a simple phone call. I was looking to purchase ube for our syrups and ended up buying nearly all of their stock. When I arrived to pick up the order, what could have been a quick transaction turned into a meaningful conversation. We shared our stories, learning about their family's journey in building Sugarland while I shared the vision behind hi raya! and our mission to celebrate culture through syrup.

This partnership holds a special place in my heart. As a Filipina business owner, it means so much to see hi raya! on the shelves of a Filipino grocery store, a place that feels like home to so many in my community. Stores like Sugarland are where many Filipinos grew up shopping for the ingredients, snacks, and household goods that connected us to the culture.
